We Are Back!

After a short hiatus, we are back!

From the beginning, this magazine has been a one person job, from outreach to web design to editing and sometimes even writing content. This was a lot, especially as a full time college student completing their graduation requirements. I had to take a little break away from the magazine to focus on my studies and cross that final hurdle: graduation. Guess what. We did it Joe! We crossed that finish line.

Now you’re probably asking: “Lauren, why are you telling us all of this?” Well, at the start of the 2021 year, I said that A Dash of Awkward is here to stay. I meant it.

I am proud to announce that the magazine is indeed back at it again, providing a safe space in which people can share their stories and experiences. Tune in next week Thursday for Spilling The Tea, an article on a queer Indian American woman’s struggle to remain in touch with her culture.
