Who is Sara Elise?

Sara Elise

She/Her/Hers

This week, we have a profile on Sara Elise. She is a nuanced person made of many moving parts. In her own words, she is a “hunter, healer, space holder, cry baby, aesthete, tactile learner + bossy, soft, treat-motivated, and indulgent kitty.” The Black and Indigenous queer femme has played a tremendous role in making people of color feel safe, seen, and represented in the areas of food and wellness, travel and self care, and BDSM and kink play. Elise not only runs Harvest & Revel, a collaboratively-run, women-led catering and design company out of Brooklyn; but she is also the co-founder of a project called the Apogeo Collective. The Apogeo Collective is a pop up bed and breakfast in gorgeous locations that provide queer and BIPOC folk with a place to be themselves, feel safe, and unwind. For more info on what Sara Elise is doing, like her forthcoming book with Harper Collins, check out her website: https://www.saraelise.com/
