Here's to a New Year

Let's be honest, 2021 is off to an interesting start. It's not what we thought- or hoped- it would be, and we're only 16 days in!

2020 was a rough year, with many ups and downs to say the least. We saw loved ones leave our sides, wildfires, and the deaths of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Tony McDade, and so many more. We also saw neighborhoods serenading each other, people marching together, and a movement towards being more supportive of one another.

A Dash of Awkward may have been founded in 2020, but we're here to stay. 2021 is going to be another year of ups and downs, but we're here for you through thick and thin. A Dash of Awkward is a safe space in which people can share their experiences with food, culture, and/or identity. We hope that you think of A Dash of Awkward as we do; a community, a home, and a family.
